Terms of Service

1. Acceptance

By creating a Trident account or using the service, you agree to these terms on behalf of the organisation you represent.

2. Services

Trident Protect is a data-protection compliance platform operated by Assegai Analytics, optionally bundled with a certified DPO-of-record service.

3. Accounts

You are responsible for keeping account credentials confidential and for actions taken under your account.

4. Fees & payment

Service fees are billed in advance, in USD, per the pricing page in effect on your renewal date.

5. Statutory fees pass-through

POTRAZ statutory fees are billed as a separate, pass-through line item at cost and are never co-mingled with service revenue.

6. Acceptable use

• No unlawful processing or circumvention of RLS boundaries.
• No attempts to access another tenant's data.
• No reverse engineering except as permitted by applicable law.

7. Intellectual property

Assegai retains all rights to the platform and its content. You retain rights to your data.

8. Confidentiality

Each party will protect the other's confidential information with reasonable care.

9. Termination

Either party may terminate for uncured material breach. On termination, we export your data and delete it per the DPA.

10. Warranties

11. Limitation of liability

12. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Zimbabwe. Disputes are resolved in the courts of Harare.
